The site is for health and healthtech founders, from idea stage through VC and PE that are innovating, it’s not for big companies with a lot of red tape. Any verified US physician with a Doximity account can join.
How do I sign up?
Founders sign in with LinkedIn. Physicians sign in with Doximity. If you don’t already have an account, you will need to create one.
Do I have to be in the US?
Physicians must be verified US physicians on Doximity. Founders can join from anywhere if they are building in health or healthtech.
Can I be both a physician and a founder?
Yes. Use two accounts: Doximity for the physician door, LinkedIn for the founder door.
How much does it cost?
Founders pay $99/month for access to names and intros. Physicians are free.
Can I browse before I pay?
Yes. Browse specialties free. Names and intro requests unlock with founder access.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Founder access is month to month, so you can cancel whenever you like.
How are physicians verified?
Every physician signs in through Doximity, the verified professional network for US physicians.
What can a physician help with?
A call, a project, or a fractional role: product validation, clinical workflow, advisory, fundraising prep, or a fractional CMO. How you work together is up to you two.

How is this different from an expert network?
Expert networks sell managed consults to companies and take a cut. We facilitate introductions between startups and physicians and stay out of the payment process.
Do you take a cut of physician fees?
No. We don’t get in the middle of transactions or take any fees.
What happens after the introduction?
The app helps find the right connection, enables introductions and facilitates conversation. How you work together, and how you pay, is between the two of you.
How do ratings work?
After a finished call or project, each side can rate the other – it’s a simple thumbs-up/thumbs-down. Ratings show on profiles so the next person has a signal. A thumbs-down is reviewed before it goes public.
Are physicians giving medical advice or treating patients?
No. Physicians advise on your product, your company, and clinical workflow. They are not treating patients or giving medical advice through Clinical Cofounders.
Is my information private?
Physicians choose what they share on their profile. Names and intro requests are only visible to founders with access.

How do I sign up?
Sign in with LinkedIn and complete founder setup. Browse specialties free; names and intros unlock with founder access.
How much does it cost?
$99/month on a card. Browsing specialties is free.
How many introductions do I get?
10 founder-outbound intros per company, rolling 30 days – this is simply to prevent spamming.
Can more than one person on my team use the account?
Founder access is for the person who signs up. If someone else on the team needs access, they should have their own account.
What stage should my company be?
Idea stage through Series A. Later-stage teams are welcome if the individual accountable for the project signs up themself.
How are physicians verified?
Every physician signs in with Doximity, the verified professional network for US physicians.
What do physicians charge?
It depends on the physician and the work. You agree on terms directly: a fee, options, or equity.
Do you take a cut?
No. We don’t process payments between you and physicians.
What if a physician doesn’t reply?
You can request another introduction or cancel it. We do not chase or manage the conversation after we connect you.
When can I rate a physician?
After you finish a call, or after a project is complete and you’ve marked that you paid. One rating per piece of finished work. You cannot change it after you submit.
What do ratings show?
Thumbs up or down, plus a few tags. Founders and physicians see the summary on Find and on the profile. Reputation is on the person, not the company name.
Do you handle NDAs or contracts?
No. If you need an NDA or an agreement, you two handle that directly.

Does it cost anything?
No. Clinical Cofounders is free for Physicians.
How do I sign up?
Sign in with Doximity so we can verify you are a US physician, then set up your profile.
How much time does this take?
As much as you choose. Many physicians do this evenings, weekends, between patients, or more frequently.
Who will contact me?
Healthtech founders and early teams, idea stage through Series A.
Do I have to accept every introduction?
Yes. You are in complete control of your interactions.
Can I say no, or pause?
Yes. You choose which conversations to take, and you can step back whenever you need to.
Who can see my profile?
Founders who have active accounts.
How do I get paid?
Directly by the founder, on terms you agree on together.
Do you take a percentage?
No. We don’t process or see what you charge.
Will I be rated?
Yes, after finished work — a completed call, or a completed project once payment is acknowledged. Founders rate you, and you rate them. One rating per piece of work.
What if I disagree with a rating?
A thumbs-down is reviewed before it is public. You can share your side through in-app Feedback. We do not let people trade ratings for payment.
Will this affect my clinical practice or employer?
That depends on your employment and any moonlighting or conflict-of-interest rules. You decide what to take on.
